On September 17th, There will be a partial lunar eclipse which occurs alongside the Full Moon in Pisces. So the question becomes, does this alter the usual things you would do/feel in a Pisces Full Moon? It actually increases those emotions, intuitiveness and creativity!
So first, a bit about the zodiac sign of Pisces. Pisces is water element (shared with Cancer and Scorpio) and is ruled by Neptune. Pisces is known for its connection to intuition, emotions, dreams, spirituality, and creativity. The Full Moon in Pisces can amplify these qualities, encouraging introspection, emotional depth, and a heightened sense of empathy.
What's that mean then when we have a partial lunar eclipse in Pisces?
First, look to this moon to amplify Pisces' themes of emotional depth, intuition, spirituality, and healing. It represents a time for culmination and release. Next, lunar eclipses are all about bringing hidden things to light. So prepare for this eclipse as it might reveal insights or truths that have been buried in your subconscious, pushing for emotional and spiritual growth. Lastly, look to releasing those Illusions! Pisces is associated with dreams, illusions, and emotional undercurrents. The eclipse may illuminate areas where we've been holding onto unrealistic expectations or fantasies, urging us to let go.
With everything broken down, here is a little advice for this Full Moon:
Reflect on emotional patterns or attachments that no longer serve you, and remove them.
Engage in spiritual practices like meditation or journaling to gain clarity during this transformational time.
Be open to changes and revelations that could help you move forward in a more authentic and aligned way.
We'll wrap this up with a reminder that we host monthly workshops for our I.S. Town Square members to set intentions with each New Moon! Our next event is Sunday, September 29th at 11:00 MDT, and we will be working as a team to help each other set intentions for the New Moon in Libra. If you are a not a member of our website, or you are a member but you have not yet joined this group, make sure to join the page and/or find I.S. Town Village under the Groups page, and join the conversation with other amazing members!
We will have another post following soon all about the Autumnal Equinox/Mabon as we move into Fall.
Sending lunar vibes and love for Tuesday!
~Stephanie
